These binoculars are a big upgrade to my current 8X42s which are primarily used for birdwatching and hunting. The optics are outstanding and crisp, and come with a carrying strap and case. I like the flip down end caps, and wish that the interpupillary distance was a tiny bit narrower (but the barrel design won't allow that). I haven't had them in outdoor field trials yet, so I'm hoping they don't fog in humidity or freeze easily when hunting.

After reading revues in two astro: magazines I thought I would try this binocular. Clearly its not an alpha bino: but at the modest price it performs very well. Some cuts are made to keep the price down, a very basic case and strap, a body made of some plastic composite,with plastic components but even higher grade instruments are guilty of this. The views are very nice with a large sweet spot and control of colour fringing thanks to the ED glass. It feels solid in the hand but not too heavy, all adjustments work smoothly. I like it and decided to keep it.
Well made. Beautiful optics. Pin point stars. 3dimensional. Great for bird watching. Hi power pushes the limit of hand held. Only con: tripod mount a little difficult to attach.
