wanted a lightweight pair of binos for hiking, these are pretty heavy
i work as a field biologist, and these have been pretty great mostly.
the colors pop and the focus is great, i love that i can use these with my glasses on.
but you pay for what you get - my eye caps immediately gave out, the strap is cheap and now when I pop them out they don't stay, they just slide back down every time and that's annoying working in the field.
contacting customer service is also really bad. Every email you send out can take from the week to a month for them to respond?
I don't know how or why that happened with me but every email i'd wait a week for a response and if i didnt get one i'd immediately email them again with "can i get some help with this please" and then i'd finally get a response.
i asked for two full eye cap replacements with pictrues for reference, they gave me one full eye cap replacement so i had to email them again and i asked them for a second one because i told them i needed both and then they instead gave me two eye cap hoods haha
all that took from January to May, yup, January to May, and to not even get what i asked for it!
its hilariously annoying.
so try and take care of them if you dont want to deal with customer service
i ended up opting in the Eyeskey Captor HDs since i get to write them off for work and with the lifetime warranty and great customer service i think that upgrade is better.
I have been watching birds with cheap binoculars for a while and decided to upgrade, and this was a great choice! The image is very crisp and clear, and the focus knob lets you easily adjust while holding the binoculars. They are not super heavy and comfortable to wear around the neck with the included neck strap. I think these binoculars will last me a long time.
I've had other binoculars that offered free repair of simple optics problems when they get misaligned from bumps or falls. One fall and the optics on my Celestron pair were doubled and unusable. After owning for only 6 mo, service department told me I could pay $100 for them to repair (almost as much as the original price). Should've looked more carefully at my purchase. Before the bump, the binoculars were great -- lightweight and easy to use. But with a toddler and a 2nd grader who are bound to drop or bump these things, just isn't reasonable to have such limited service. Will not be purchasing again.
Bought these for birdwatching during vacation. They are a great little pair, small and light and the picture was nearly as good as my larger and heavier “home” pair. Recommended!
Environmentally friendly glasses are made without lead or arsenic. These FMC lenses reduce internal interference to improve light transmission, and deliver stunning resolution, color fidelity, and edge-to-edge clarity.
A large non-slip center focus wheel enables precise focus control, even while wearing gloves. This ultra-smooth focus wheel allows you to focus on an object quickly for perfect definition.
It is compatible with a tripod adapter, allowing use on a tripod or car window mount. You can set these binoculars on any tripod to ensure the most steady viewing.
Lifetime Warranty Guaranteed
