Optical Performance
Wide 62° apparent angle of view helps to reduce the appearance of the distracting hand shake that is common when holding high-power optics such as this.
Flat field optical technology deliver an expansive linear image all the way to the edges of the field of view.
Extra low-dispersion (ED) glass helps to correct chromatic and spherical aberration to improve clarity and sharpness with accurate color representation without ghosting or halos— especially at the edges of the field of view.
Anti-reflection multi-coated optics(A5) improve light transmission and contrast and provides an accurate color rendition.
Phase-correcting prism coatings eliminate internal interference to improve color and contrast.
Dielectric prism coatings boost internal prism reflectivity to greater than 99% to maximize light transmission through the prism with minimal loss and diffraction.
Construction Details
O-ring sealed and argon filled to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme changes in temperature or environmental conditions.
The well-balanced, ergonomic industrial design magnesium alloy body protects the binoculars from damage without weighing you down.
Rubber armoring provides protection from bumps and impacts while offering a positive slip-resistant grip in cold and wet weather.
Comfortable eye relief improves viewing comfort and reduces eyestrain during long glassing sessions.
Right eye dioptric correction lets you compensate for individual eye prescription for tack-sharp views

These are very fine binoculars and provide a good, clear, well lit image. I use them mostly for birding. Not sure many folks would use the carrying case as described (strapped to their chest), unless you were a hunter, I suppose. Will be attaching a harness to replace that & the neck strap. Good binoculars for birding, though!
I have a pair of Eyeskey Razors and was going to rsbuy them for my wife. After reading all the reviews I found, decided to buy the propiot HD's for her. She loves them and I must say they are every bit as good as my Razors.
Had a difficult time holding them steady which created jiggling in the subject.
I bought these binoculars as a field expedient method for checking shot impacts on steel at the range. They work well and are decent for checking mirage, too.
I don't stare through them for long periods of time, so I can't comment authoritatively on the glass quality, but the image in general is good.
The size and and weight of the 10x42 is respectable and is a good middle ground between small form factor and magnification/resolution/objective size.
Gave these to my wife for her nature watching. She loves them, so I am happy.
