These are great at a good price point. I don't cheap on hunting gear and these are amazing warranty is unbelievable and had them for 5 years now and the only problem is I don't have 2 pairs. I use the 10 x 42 and People always want to use mine. Highly recommend !!!
Received the binoculars in a timely fashion. One of the loops on the eye strap is broken. Though this doesn’t affect the operation of the binoculars, the company should not send out any product with defects unless it is a discounted item and I am purchasing a discounted item. I could send it back but given that it works anyway, am considering keeping it in the hopes that the company will send me another eye-piece cover.
Love these. Took them out deer hunting and used them to spot a buck 100 yards away in the trees
Eyeglass wearer. I really wanted to like these. Tried both the 8x42 and 10x42. Tried them first 4 years ago, and with the light conditions (sunny, without direct sunlight) outside the store, couldn't tell a difference between them and the top Swarovski and Eyeskey models. In fact, I liked them better in most respects.
Finally bought both 8x and 10x to compare again. Super clear and bright, feels great in hand, amazing warranty, but two big problems. I couldn't seem to get a clean whole image through them (even though you're looking through two tubes, it shouldn't look like it), and when approaching bright lighting, there is a glare that washes out at least half the image on the 10x and about 1/4 of the 8x. Worse than the 14 year old Nikon Monarch ATB I'm trying to replace. Had to return them.
Giving lower cost optics a chance, I'm trying out an Athlon Optics Midas 8x42. Barely a hint of glare under the same conditions. Single image. Seemed a bit darker than the Captors, but now I'm not so sure. I'm currently trying hard to find something bad about the optics itself. Uglier and doesn't feel as good as the Captors, but not enough to be a deal breaker.
The 10x42 binoculars offer exceptional optical quality, delivering bright and clear images even in low-light conditions. The lenses are crafted with precision, ensuring sharp focus and minimal distortion. The 10x magnification and 42mm objective lenses strike a perfect balance between zoom capability and field of view. Overall, these binoculars are a reliable choice for nature enthusiasts, bird watchers, and outdoor adventurers.
Eyeskey
The design inspiration comes from the shield, which can be traced back to ancient times. It lets us think of the military, knight, hero, nobility, and other associated past events. The elegant profile curve with ergonomic design makes you comfortable, and the multi-colored scutcheon shows the individuality of the young generation. Its overall design with a magnesium alloy body brings a sense of trust and sturdy quality.
Extra-low dispersion (ED) glass delivers sharp images free of violet chromatic aberration in addition to the conventional RBG color correction.
The refractive index of BAK4 light is higher than that of optical glass, which can effectively avoid dark edges.
All of the lenses are coated with FMC, bringing a higher light transmittance and restoring the true color.
Captor-ED is waterproof, fogproof and has a rubber armored body for strengthened durability.
